i have three new bands that i’m working on, a total of about 25 songs in progress for all of them. this is in addition to Brown Recluse and Autoscroll, both of which are recording now/soon.

Herman’s Hermits - Make Me Happy
One of my favorite bands of all time. This song is so poppy and dreamy… and simple. The female vocals by Shelley Fabares are so great. I wish I could make music that is almost this great.

i’m in austin. if anyone else is down here, send me an email! i’ll be here until next wednesday (the 25th!).
today i saw the hold steady at the airport and then saw 20/20 play “yellow pills”, one of my favorite power pop songs ever.
tomorrow i’m starting off my day seeing anni rossi! and ending it at a great show with tyvek, xyx, eat skull, and more bands at the house where i am staying.
